This four-year project will bolster the UAE’s naval capabilities and enhance maritime security.

The OPVs will be equipped with cutting-edge naval technology and designed with advanced features. These vessels will be capable of conducting a wide range of missions, such as EEZ Patrol, EEZ Surveillance, EEZ Interdiction (piracy, smuggling, environmental protection), maritime law enforcements and coast guard functions, search and rescue (SAR), disaster relief.

Abu Dhabi, 4^th March 2025: Al Seer Marine (ADX: ASM), a frontrunner in the maritime industry and a subsidiary of International Holding Company (ADX: IHC), announced the delivery of motor tankers Tabit and Rigel, the final two vessels in its series of six new build Medium Range (MR) tankers ordered from K Shipbuilding Korea.

These vessels feature Exhaust Gas Cleaning Systems (EGCS) and are built ready for future alternative fuels like Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), ammonia, and methanol. They comply with strict environmental regulations, while meeting global demand for clean petroleum and chemical transport.

The delivery of Tabit and Rigel was financed through a partnership with BOCOM Financial Leasing Co., Ltd. (BOCOM Leasing), a subsidiary of the Bank of Communications, which provided AED 257.25 million (USD 70 million) for this investment. This marked the third financing agreement between Al Seer Marine and BOCOM Leasing, bringing the total investment commitment to AED 845.2 million (USD 230 million).

“Our strong financial performance in 2024, with over AED 1.28 billion (USD 348.9 million) in revenue and AED 107 million (USD 29.2 million) in operational profits, has made Al Seer Marine a trusted partner for forward-thinking investors locally and globally,” said Guy Neivens, CEO of Al Seer Marine.

“The partnership with BOCOM Leasing is a testament to the confidence in our vision and operational strength. With the delivery of Tabit and Rigel, the first phase of our CPP fleet expansion is now complete, with six new MR tankers fully operational and chartered, positioning Al Seer Marine for sustained revenue growth in the years ahead,” he added.

Tabit and Rigel, with a deadweight tonnage (DWT) of 49,853.6 tons and 49,781.8 tons respectively, are classified as IMO II/III oil and chemical tankers and were engineered for optimal global operations, carrying up to six fully segregated grades of cargo. Tabit has secured AED 170 million (USD 46 million) time charter with HMM Co. Ltd for a five-year term. Rigel has been delivered to AED 157 million (USD 42.8 million) time charter with Global Horizon Shipping Limited, bringing the total value of the six charters to AED  957 million (USD 260.4 million).

Al Seer Marine’s fleet includes Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) tankers, crude and product tankers, Very Large Crude Carriers (VLCCs), Medium Range (MR) tankers, and bulk carriers, ensuring safe and efficient transportation across markets. The company operates two LPG tankers with capacity of about 22,700 DWT, and three VLCCs, each exceeding 300,000 DWT. Its modern fleet also comprises seven MR tankers, each with capacities close to 49,800 DWT, and a bulk carrier with a capacity of 37,314 DWT. Additionally, Al Seer Marine owns two Very Large Gas Tankers (VLGC) through ABGC DMCC, a joint venture with BGN Int DMCC. أبوظبي، 4 مارس 2025: أعلنت شركة الصير مارين للمعدات والتوريدات البحرية، الشركة الرائدة في قطاع الشحن البحري والتابعة للشركة العالمية القابضة، عن تسلُّم ناقلتي النفط “تابت” و”ريجل”، آخر سفينتين ضمن الناقلات الست الجديدة متوسطة المدى التي تم طلبها من شركة “كي لبناء السفن” الكورية.

تم تزويد السفن الجديدة بأنظمة تنظيف غاز العادم، مع القدرة على استخدام الوقود البديل مثل الغاز الطبيعي المسال والميثانول؛ امتثالًا لأرقى المعايير البيئية، وبما يلبي الطلب العالمي المتزايد على نقل المنتجات البترولية والكيماويات النظيفة.

تم تمويل تسليم ناقلتي “تابت” و”ريجل” بالتعاون مع شركة “بوكوم للتأجير التمويلي”، التابعة لبنك الاتصالات الصيني، بقيمة 257.25 مليون درهم إماراتي (70 مليون دولار)، ليكون التعاون الثالث من نوعه بينها وبين الصير مارين، وبذلك يصل إجمالي استثماراتها في الأسطول الحديث إلى 845.2 مليون درهم إماراتي (230 مليون دولار).

Abu Dhabi, 29^th January 2025: Al Seer Marine (ADX: ASM), a frontrunner in the maritime industry and a subsidiary of International Holding Company (ADX: IHC), has announced its financial results for 2024, highlighting operational growth amidst market-driven recovery trends.

The company recorded a 4.0% increase in total revenue to AED 1.281 billion. This growth was achieved through diversification across key sectors. This included the commencement of operations for four new MR tankers in the Commercial Sector, a surge in demand for yacht management services in the Yachting Sector, and the establishment of new maintenance and technical support contracts in the Innovation, Defense, and Technologies Sector.

In addition, Al Seer Marine had a 6.2% increase in gross profit, reaching AED 153 million in 2024, driven by the successful implementation of efficiencies and optimisation measures. And the company’s total assets stood at approximately AED 8.4 billion as of the end of 2024, reflecting its strong position in the industry.

Al Seer Marine reported total losses of AED 1.47 billion for 2024, stemming from a decline in the fair value through profit or loss (FVTPL) of shares in leading firms listed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) due to market fluctuations. The year-end results showed a significant rebound from mid-year losses, reflecting the strength of the UAE’s economic fundamentals and the strategic importance of Al Seer Marine’s investments in reputable firms.

Guy Neivens, CEO of Al Seer Marine, commented on this progress: “Our focus in 2024 remained firmly on strengthening our operational capabilities and reinforcing our position as a maritime powerhouse. We expanded our fleet with cutting-edge, future-proof tankers and enhanced our shipbuilding capabilities through Dune, our joint venture with Damen International, to construct both naval and commercial vessels. The collaboration with BOCOM Financial Leasing Co., Ltd. (BOCOM Leasing), a subsidiary of the Bank of Communications, one of China’s largest commercial banks, was announced in October 2024 with a USD 80 million (AED 293.8 million) deal to finance the delivery of two MR oil and chemical tankers. The partnership was further expanded with a similar deal to finance two more tankers, bringing the total investment committed by BOCOM Leasing to USD 160 million (AED 586.8 million).

“The global commercial shipping industry in 2024 faced immense disruptions to shipping routes due to geopolitical tensions, fluctuating freight rates, the enforcement of new green regulations, and rising operational costs. At Al Seer Marine, we overcame these challenges by leveraging long-term chartering contracts and well-structured sourcing partnerships to safeguard our operational profits from market volatility,” said Gunther Alvarado, Deputy CEO of Al Seer Marine.

The four new tankers have secured 5-year time charters with Reliance Industries (Middle East) DMCC, valued at AED 154.2 million (USD 42 million) per vessel, with a total value of AED 617 million (USD 168 million). Al Seer Marine will deliver two vessels remaining from the six MR tankers ordered from K Shipbuilding, in Q1 2025. The delivery of these final vessels is expected to further enhance Al Seer Marine’s commercial revenue. The company is a key partner and investor in the UAE’s maritime sector, complementing its strategic investments exceeding AED 1.45 billion (USD 395.1 million) in ADNOC Logistics and Services and Abu Dhabi Ports.

أبوظبي، 29 يناير 2025: أعلنت شركة الصير مارين للمعدات والتوريدات البحرية ، الرائدة في قطاع الصناعات البحرية والتابعة للشركة العالمية القابضة  عن نتائجها المالية لعام 2024، والتي أظهرت نمو أرباحها التشغيلية، وبداية تعافي محفظتها الاستثمارية من الهبوط الذي تعرضت له الأسواق المالية

وقد حققت الشركة عام 2024 زيادة في إيراداتها الإجمالية بنسبة 4%، لتصل إلى 1.28 مليار درهم (348.9 مليون دولار أمريكي)، مدفوعة بالتنوع في أنشطتها التجارية عبر قطاعات رئيسة؛ شملت تشغيل أربع ناقلات نفط وكيماويات جديدة في قطاع الشحن التجاري، وارتفاع الطلب على خدمات إدارة اليخوت، إضافة إلى توقيع عقود جديدة للصيانة والدعم الفني في قطاع الابتكار والدفاع والتكنولوجيا

كما ارتفعت الأرباح الإجمالية بنسبة 6.2%، لتصل إلى 153 مليون درهم مدفوعة بكفاءة العمليات والإجراءات التشغيلية، وبلغت قيمة الأصول الإجمالية للشركة نحو 8.4 مليار درهم، ما يؤكد على مكانتها الراسخة في القطاع البحري

من جانب آخر، سجلت الشركة خسائر إجمالية بقيمة 1.47 مليار درهم لعام 2024، وقد جاءت هذه الخسائر نتيجةً لانخفاض قيمة محفظة استثماراتها في أسهم عدد من الشركات الرائدة والمدرجة في سوق أبوظبي للأوراق المالية بسبب تقلبات الأسواق. وتجدر الإشارة إلى أن أسعار هذه المحفظة قد أظهرت تعافيًا كبيرًا في نهاية العام 2024، عوضت خلاله جزءًا كبيرًا من خسائرها التي بلغت ذروتها في منتصف العالم. ويعكس هذا التعافي قوة اقتصاد دولة الإمارات وقطاعاته الرئيسة، والأهمية الاستراتيجية للاستثمارات التي خصصتها الصير مارين في كبرى الشركات المرموقة في الدولة

وقد أعلنت الصير مارين في أكتوبر 2024 عن تعاونها مع “بوكوم للتأجير التمويلي”، التابعة لبنك الاتصالات الصيني، من خلال صفقة بقيمة 293.8 مليون درهم (80 مليون دولار أمريكي) لتمويل تسليم ناقلتي نفط وكيماويات، وقبل نهاية العام تم توسيع الشراكة بصفقة مماثلة لتمويل ناقلتين إضافيتين، ما رفع إجمالي استثمارات شركة “بوكوم للتأجير التمويلي” مع الصير مارين إلى 586.8 مليون درهم (160 مليون دولار أمريكي)

من جانبه قال جونتيرس ألفارادو، نائب الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة الصير مارين للمعدات والتوريدات البحرية: “واجهت صناعة الشحن البحري العالمية خلال العام 2024 اضطرابات هائلة في مسارات الشحن بسبب التوترات الجيوسياسية، وتقلب أسعار الشحن، وفرض لوائح بيئية جديدة، وارتفاع التكاليف التشغيلية. وقد تمكنًا في الصير مارين من التغلب على تلك التحديات؛ من خلال الاستفادة من عقود التأجير طويلة الأجل، والشراكات المدروسة في سلسلة التوريد لحماية أرباحنا التشغيلية من تقلبات السوق، إضافة إلى ذلك قمنا ببناء أسطول يلتزم بالكامل بأعلى المعايير البيئية”

تم تأجير الناقلتين الجديدتين بقيمة 84 مليون دولار أمريكي لمدة خمس سنوات لشركة ريلاينس للصناعات

ضاعفت بوكوم للتأجير التمويلي استثماراتها في أسطول “الصير مارين” ليصل إلى 160 مليون دولار أمريكي

أبوظبي، الإثنين 23 ديسمبر 2024: أعلنت شركة الصير مارين للمعدات والتوريدات البحرية، إحدى الشركات الرائدة في القطاع البحري، والتابعة للشركة العالمية القابضة ، عن تسلّمها ناقلة “سيف” وسفينة أخرى من شركة “كي لبناء السفن” الكورية. وتمثل الناقلتان الدفعة الثانية من الأسطول المتطور الذي تم بناؤه حديثًا من قبل الشركة الكورية، ويضم ست ناقلات متوسطة المدى

وقد تم تزويد كلا الناقلتين بنظام تنقية غازات العادم، وتجهيزهما لاستخدام الوقود البديل قليل الانبعاثات مثل الغاز الطبيعي المسال، أو الوقود الخالي من الانبعاثات مثل الأمونيا، والميثانول. وتؤكد تلك المزايا على التزام “الصير مارين” بتكنولوجيا المستقبل، وامتثالها الصارم للوائح والأنظمة البيئية، مع تلبية الطلب المتزايد عالميًا على نقل الكيماويات والمنتجات البترولية النظيفة

وقد تم تمويل عملية تسلّم الناقلتين من قبل شركة “بوكوم للتأجير التمويلي”، التابعة لبنك الاتصالات الصيني، بقيمة 80 مليون دولار أمريكي (40 مليون دولار أمريكي لكل ناقلة)، في خطوة تعزز شراكتها مع “الصير مارين”، والتي انطلقت في أغسطس 2024 بتمويل ناقلتي “بيتيلجوس” و”بيلاتريكس” بنفس القيمة، ليرتفع إجمالي استثمارات “بوكوم للتأجير التمويلي” مع “الصير مارين” إلى 160 مليون دولار أمريكي

تبلغ حمولة كل ناقلة نحو 50 ألف طن، ويمكن لكل منهما نقل ست حمولات مختلفة من النفط والمواد الكيماوية في ستة مستودعات منفصلة تمامًا عن بعضها البعض، ما يرفع من كفاءة التشغيل ويلبي متطلبات عمليات الشحن العالمية بمرونة عالية. وتمتاز السفينتان بالقدرة على الرسو في مختلف الموانئ الكبرى حول العالم بفضل تصميمهما المتقدم وحجمهما المثالي، ويمكنهما الإبحار بكفاءة عبر جميع الممرات المائية الدولية. وقد تم تأجير الناقلتين بعقد يمتد إلى خمس سنوات مع شركة “ريلاينس للصناعات” بقيمة 42 مليون دولار أمريكي لكل ناقلة، لتنضمّا إلى ناقلتي “بيتيلجوس” و”بيلاتريكس” المؤجرتين لنفس الشركة سابقًا

بعد تسلّم الناقلتين الحديثتين، يتبقى سفينتان فقط ضمن أسطول الناقلات الست التي تم طلبها العام الماضي من شركة “كي لبناء السفن” الكورية، ويتوقع تسلّم الناقلتين الأخيرتين في يناير 2025. وسيسهم تأجير “سيف” والناقلة الأخرى في تعزيز إيرادات الشركة، والتي ارتفعت إلى 580 مليون درهم إماراتي (158 مليون دولار أمريكي) في النصف الأول من عام 2024، ليبلغ إجمالي أصولها 7.5 مليار درهم إماراتي (2.04 مليار دولار أمريكي). وسيعزز توسيع أسطول الشركة مكانتها باعتبارها لاعبًا رئيسًا في قطاع النقل البحري بدولة الإمارات؛ حيث تجاوزت قيمة استثماراتها الاستراتيجية في موانئ أبوظبي، و”أدنوك للإمداد والخدمات” 1.45 مليار درهم إماراتي (395.1 مليون دولار أمريكي)

 Abu Dhabi, 23 December 2024: Al Seer Marine (ADX: ASM), a frontrunner in the maritime industry and a subsidiary of International Holding Company (ADX: IHC), has taken delivery of M.T. Saiph and her sister ship from K Shipbuilding Korea. These state-of-the-art vessels are the second pair in a series of six newbuilding MR tankers.

Each vessel is equipped with an Exhaust Gas Cleaning System (EGCS) and engineered to accommodate alternative fuels such as Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), ammonia, and methanol. These advanced features ensure future adaptability and compliance with stringent environmental regulations while meeting the surging global demand for clean petroleum products (CPP) and chemicals transportation.

The delivery is financed by BOCOM Financial Leasing Co., Ltd. (BOCOM Leasing), a subsidiary of Bank of Communications, securing USD 80 million—USD 40 million per vessel. This latest agreement strengthens Al Seer Marine’s partnership with BOCOM Leasing, first established in August 2024 with the USD 80 million financing of MR tankers Betelgeuse and Bellatrix, bringing BOCOM’s total commitment to USD 160 million.

With a deadweight of 49,757 MT each, the two modern vessels are IMO II/III oil and chemical tankers carefully engineered to carry six fully segregated grades of cargo for optimal global operations. The vessels’ dimensions and sophisticated design ensure versatile navigation capabilities and unrestricted access to major ports worldwide, including efficient passage through strategic maritime routes. Both tankers have secured 5-year time charters with Reliance Industries (Middle East) DMCC, valued at USD 42 million per vessel, joining their sister ships Betelgeuse and Bellatrix in the charter arrangement.

With the delivery of the two modern tankers, Al Seer Marine has just two vessels remaining from the six MR tankers ordered from K Shipbuilding, with completion expected in January 2025. The delivery of these final vessels is expected to further enhance Al Seer Marine’s commercial revenues. The company’s robust performance in the first half of 2024 saw total assets reach AED 7.5 billion (USD 2.04 billion), with revenues climbing to AED 580 million (USD 158 million). Established in 2022, the joint venture initially focused on naval shipbuilding. Now, expanding its operations, Dune is entering the commercial shipbuilding market. This strategic move strengthens its position as a global leader in the maritime industry.
